Brak is 2 1/2 year old
"blue" green iguana owned by Chris
Leonard. She eats a variety of greens such as
collard, mustard, basil, and loves strawberries.
She had a calcium deficiency when she was
younger and she needs powdered vitamins
sprinkled on her main meals. She also enjoys
eating the dried iguana pellets they have at
most pet stores. She likes lots of attention and
has a very big tank with a series of ramps for
her to roam freely around the basement. She is
potty trained and does not make too many messes.
She is bathed regularly and given as much
natural sunlight as possible during the summer.
Brak has been a patient of Dr.
Beatty's and was just in visiting us the other
day. She had a good time exploring the
reception area and exam rooms! She was an
excellent patient and we look forward to seeing
more of her. Thank you Chris for trusting
us with her care.
